ToneSpeak Impulse Responses
ToneSpeak IR’s were created with a purpose—make great guitar tone possible in every digital situation. Within each IR package, you will get multiple mic’ing positions from industy standard microphones. Every individual IR was created to represent the tonal differences associated with different mic’ing positions in order to give you multiple options to cut through the mix or broaden your presence. You’re sure to find the perfect IR whatever your situation requires!
Each ToneSpeak Impulse Response includes four different microphone selections with 3 distinct mic'ing positions per microphone. These models include:
- Royer R-121
- Sennheiser e906
- Sennheiser MD-421
- Shure SM57
Each IR contains multiple sample rates of 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz to allow for universal usage.
Austin 1250 Speaker Impulse Response
A complex, thick and vocal midrange cuts through the upper-register, while nice, full, lower-mid grunt completes the warm, gutsy, tight lows. The highs, while clear, open and articulate remain warm and ear pleasing.
New Orleans 1250 Speaker Impulse Response
The warm, woody, smooth, organic qualities of the material are heavily embodied in this speaker. It’s full and defined in the lows, very natural in the mids, and warm, smooth, and creamy in the highs.
Birmingham 1275 Speaker Impulse Response
Good punch and definition in the lows that won’t get flabby, a warm, throaty, and broad midrange, and nice grit with soaring articulation in the highs. Classic British rock tone, inspired by tones from the '60s and '70s.
Liverpool 1275 Speaker Impulse Response

Manchester 1290 Speaker Impulse Response
