who is Max Stakolich?
Max Stakolich is a 14-year-old guitar prodigy from Rocky River whose musical journey began at just four years old. By age seven, he had joined the School of Rock, where he honed his craft and quickly found his place in the local blues scene. His performances at iconic venues like Brother’s Lounge and, more recently, the Kent Blues Festival have earned him a reputation as a rising star.
During the summer, Max can often be found onstage with his band, StakHouse, delivering electrifying performances or sitting in with some of the region’s most respected musicians. His talents have also landed him appearances at major events for the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, Guardians, Monsters, and Columbus Crew. A familiar face at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Garage, Max frequently joins the jam sessions there with seasoned artists.
In March, Max and StakHouse recorded their debut EP at the renowned Suma Recording Studio. The release has received enthusiastic acclaim and earned the band an opportunity to compete at the 2025 Global Citizen Festival, where they’ll vie for a substantial cash prize to help propel their musical journey even further.
Max’s talent and passion have already attracted endorsements and recognition from across the globe—an impressive trajectory for a young artist just getting started.
